Is placing a bet for Tales of Tribute against ToS?

Not really much to elaborate on. Just wondering if two consenting players can bid on themselves to win a Tales of Tribute match. Likely would use a third party broker. Is this against ToS?

ZOS would never explicitly allow or sanction betting with any out-of-game/real-world currency for some pretty obvious reasons.

Betting with what? In-game gold? That'll be fine.

People used to do it with RGB back in the day. It was a really popular game.

Even if not, how would they even know?

Not exactly the attitude someone who has played this game since beta should ever have. Last thing I'd want is to do something I think would be fun and profitable, just to find out I get perma banned from my favorite game over it.

i would say it would probably be safe to bet any "in game" items (gold, mats, other tradeable items)

anything out of game is probably a no-no, kind of like buying gold with real world money from a gold farmer (although this itself has been kind of subverted with the gold->crown trade)
