Power/Pellin plays seem too difficult to counter

I am really enjoying the game but it feels like power strategies are too difficult to counter. Notably if a player can get their hands on The Armory (5 cost to buy, gives 5 power and 1 gold) in their first turn or two. From there it'll ramp up hard with just a few purchases of other power cards and the only counter to any of this (within the first 4 decks) are cards with taunt which start at price 6 in addition to being uncommon.

I know I am still learning the game but so far it feels like power can get out of hand too easily compared to any other other styles and has the most difficult counter to get.

Funnily enough, Pellin comes with its own counter as well: the Agents in Pellin have Taunt, so rather than the power your opponent gains going to their prestige, they have to use it to attack your Agent first. Though "Rally" and "The Armory" are both overtuned.

Other strategies are quite powerful as well, like hlaalu, which can be used to gain a huge amount of valuable cards (up to value 5) in a very short amount of time - supported by duke cards, this can just roll over everything, with a large amount of cards played in a turn which trigger the combos all the time - it's not just power which is strong.
