On the PTS-- I think I lost my first match, IIRC, while I was trying to get some idea of strategy. But I'm pretty sure I won my second match, although I lost another one after that. You win some, you lose some.

That was all against NPCs. I'll probably lose most of the time against other players, but we'll see.

Even if you won, you probably lost since the servers were only up for a hot minute.

Lost. That lady cheated. She moved a ton of cards and got a zillion power in one hand. I think a hint mode should be active for beginners will get idea how to do combo moves for least for beginner's first 3 or 4 games.

Tired of waiting, log into ESO EU server. I had experiment character there at level 7. She got the job done. Advise, when the patron medallion light up green to turn; turn them to you. You can win turning the four patrons to your side; prevent them sneakily smart bots from running up the score on you.

I haven't played it in the main server yet, but in the PTS, I won handily. I also won my first couple matches against other players, though I also lost a couple.

Can't load now, still updating.

But I doubt I will even try this until the hide things very positive for the rest of the game behind this.

It took me a long time to start doing Archeology, and that fits the game much better. Now I want the glowy chests feature, and the leads.

I shudder to think of what things will be hid behind the card game eventually.

There I was with my 3 Blue eyes white dragons looking down on my opponent.My win was guaranteed. Then somehow with the little amount of turns he summoned Exodia...I know he cheated somehow...he would pause and just stare from time to time. I swear he was like 5 inches taller or something. I'll admit, it's kind of hard to see that with the holograms between us. I also think he had something written on his hand...something his friends put there....

That's part of the mechanics, you try to get all 4 patrons favoring you. How much you need to invest to "bribe" them differs from patron to patron. But you have as well to counter attempts of your opponent to get them all on his side.

Won vs NPC, but I'd played a bit on the PTS.

Interestingly, I thought I'd really beat him thoroughly, so on the turn that I got 40 prestige while he was still down in the teens, I also flipped the 4th patron.

I received a "Tribute Loss" reward in the mail, although the quest showed the win properly.

I miss some kind of stats interface, or at least I havent found one yet. I enjoy it a lot, it reminds me of the Ascension card game. Score 8-0 so far against players.

I won my first match against an NPC, and my first match against a player I met in the card club. I didn't know that playing with dudes you meet in the game doesn't count towards the daily challenge. Then I lost a bunch when using in the activity finder until finally getting bronze reward. My final score against other players is 2-2 so far. I hate this game, can't wait to play again.

Tutorial is in the initiation quest to the Roister's Club. It is quite good and you learn it while playing.

If you don’t count the win Braghas gives you (and I don’t), I lost my first 2 while I was still trying to figure it out. Won my third, and I was proud. Lost again, then won. I’m having a ton of fun with the game and my strategy has improved a lot after figuring out my earlier mistakes.

I won my first match against one of the novice NPCs seated upstairs, it lasted almost 31 minutes I won against a second NPC as well. Did I know what was happening? Nope. Taking my two victories and giving it a rest for now, my head hurts
