I doubt it's that serious. My guess is it's some hardware issue but what do I know.

Oh no big, I only paid enough for a whole other separate game, then waited for MONTHS, why NOT wait the entire day that I arranged for and set aside to dive into the first thing I've looked forward to in what feels like forever? I mean, it's not like I could have done, ohhhhh, I dunno, ANYTHING ELSE today besides get excited, then disappointed, then wait, then get excited, then disappointed, then wait, then get excit-..... Bah, what did I expect, it's Bethesda.

A relatively small expansion to an existing game that they have been working on for SEVERAL months and tested properly for weeks on the test server should not be able to break the entire game.

I think it reads like that because it's a new day in UTC land. 1 am for them. Notice the time after the date. And the time zone. But yeah, I thought the same thing until I caught those two details.

Sadly, the game has been so not fun lately that I don't care about any compensation. I've been playing since about month 4 and don't need anything. All I miss is playing with my friends and talk in disco. The game is a small part of my fun.

The PTS isn't a catch-all. It can't give data if there aren't enough people using it to provide feedback/act as a stress test. It can't predict or prevent issues with the live servers, which could be caused by any number of things.

Also, to people worried they're losing the 100k gold, you aren't losing it. It's just being delayed by a day. You'd have to miss like 2 weeks before you lose the gold, since iirc it's given in the second week. What you lose when you miss days is the last thing currently on the 'calendar'.

The way things are at the moment it probably cost more in electricity bills to leave it running overnight than the cost to buy High Isle
