What gear sets are considered BIS for Stam builds anymore?

Coming back from a 2 year break and I wanna see how much work I need to do.

I am basically interested in what armor sets are good, as I can see on my Stamwarden it is daggers/2H GS.

I assume Relequen is still good but is it true that a lot of dungeons sets are rivaling it? Things like Dro''Zakar Claws, Kinra's and Pillar of Nirn can rival Rele? I just dont have the daggers to front bar rele ( which seems to be optimal? ) so I am wondering if another combo would work well. PTS wise, I got the rotation down ( About 110k - 115k DPS ) when practicing.

Relequen daggers are not optimal. Its still 5 body pieces due to the stacks. Kinras weapons/jewels for trials. I prefer Medusa weapons/jewels for dungeons on a traditional crit DD build.

If I were running a bleed build I'd probably go Pillar of Nirn + Blooddrinker. But Relequen with either of those sets works, too.

But if you're hitting 110+, why change?

I'm finding tzogvin superior to medusa unless you really need that instant burst

Great call. I think you get about 300 more in crit with Tzvogin.

Agreed. In trash pulls or really short fights, medusa can be better (assuming you are running kilt or 2 piece monster set and not a mythic ring). If the fight goes long enough to build stacks, Tzogvin is superior or if you want to wear a jewelry mythic. Wearing a heavy armor piece (medusa) makes it tough to run a lot of the time if really trying to min/max.

To the OP, relequen is pretty much the best single target body setup for both magic and stam. Bahsei can be pretty darn good in trash or AOE fights, again, really for either mag or stam (but you probably want Bahsei jewelry on stam, so you only have 2 LA pieces).

Front bar go to is Kinras, but AY is really close (i cant tell the difference on a dummy). Tzogvin is also excellent here, and may actually be better in a lot of fights, even if technically not the best damage. Deadly Strike is also still really strong on stamplar as a front bar set.

The list above from skinny cheeks is a solid resource. The reality is we have more gear combos within a percent or two of "meta" that we have every had.
