Questions re: AP and rank/skill tree leveling

Hi all. Can't seem to find good info on this, and it is a bit confusing. There are three separate progressing ranks happening here. First, you gain AP. Gaining AP then increases your Alliance Rank. Increasing your Alliance Rank then in turn increases your Alliance Skill Trees.
What I am trying to figure out is:

- How much does AP gain increase your Alliance Rank by. Is it a 1-to-1 ratio? (100 AP increases rank progress by 100?)
- How much does AP gain increase your Alliance SKILL TREE progress by? Is this also 1-to-1?
