Incorrect "Message of the day has changed" notification

Hello,

I run a small guild. Only me and one other person have the ability to change the message of the day, and we have not done so for quite a while.

However, for the last few weeks, every time I log in, I've been getting a notification that the message of the day for my guild has changed. It has DEFINITELY not changed. If I dismiss it and switch to another character, it pops up again. Other guild members have also been having this issue, but possibly not as frequently as me.

Any suggestions??

    Have you tried changing the message to something different, then afterwards changing the message back to what it originally was?

    I deleted the message completely and that seemed to fix it, but when I added a new message (slightly different from the original one), the issue returned.

    Try leaving the message deleted for a day before adding a new message and see if that makes a difference with the notifications popping up.

    I tried that and it hasn't worked. It's also now bringing up the message of the day for another guild (that I don't run) even if I have read it/it hasn't changed. This is only consistently happening on my alts, not on my main.

    Thank you for the update on what has happened. At this point we recommend starting a ticket with customer support so they can look into this issue further.
