multiple crashing? is this a bug???

recently returned to ESO to try again but toons are consistently crashing and not logging them back in is proving to be 'hard work' and not fun, as I have to try over and over while watching the spinning wheel slowly turn till it stops then times out. Then if I do get into the character toon page and choose a different toon to log in, I can't get it to teleport to blackwood for writs without it crashing and I'm back to square one trying to get a toon to log in???

i give in. tried rebooting everything now launcher won't work.
