Will Microsoft buyout bring new life to pvp?

8 years ESO has been gong and PVP has been terrible. The lag and people getting DCed has gotten worse over the years. Also just the lack of any real addition to Pvp “ mainly cyrodil” is shameful. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy pvp when it isn’t unplayable and I wish they would actually give us more content.

Probably not. I don't imagine the dev team will change just because of the microsoft acquisition and if the combat team is the same, I doubt their vision will change either

The same "bean counters" that were at ZOS are still at ZOS. Their business model has not changed. Until we see consistent evidence of performance improvements, they aren't happening.

If ZOS don't fix the game before Microsoft comes to this forum and see the problem, a lot of people will be fired.

It would look like they do intend to invest in the ESO dev team.

This could also mean that the higher priced, more experienced employees have moved on for one or another reason and now they need the fill the roster with less costly rookies. I'm just going on what we've seen as their business model thus far.

With the hot hiring market right now, they could also be replacing people who left for other jobs. It is really hard to retain engineers these days. Can't say if that is growing or just maintaining.

And if they are maintaining, that means bringing in people that will need time to ramp up. Even if they are great, it takes time to ramp up.
