Hair Color is a lot Darker with certain Styles

There are certain hairstyles that alter the hair color, too, making it much darker than the original. This prevents me from using certain hairstyles because I don't care for the darker color.

The top picture is the color I chose for my character, and the bottom is what happens to it when I change hairstyles.

It's definitely a thing, I actually like it- blonde straight hair becomes almost bright red if you switch to certain haircuts with curls or braids.

Yup. The curly hairstyles often got a different colour. Same goes for facial hair.

It prevents me from using some styles I would otherwise like.

Highly noticeable with some crown store styles, where once you place a hat on them they suddenly transform into a random afro.

I've noticed this too. One of my characters has grey hair and with certain styles it looks brown or black instead.

I don't remember seeing the same with dark haired characters - I haven't found any styles which make their hair lighter.

That heavy style with braids that came with Skyrim made my hair black. (It is normally grey or as I like to think of it, silver.)

The rotmeth hangover hair makes it bluish.

I like it though. Easy way to change hair color for variety.

The most annoying thing is when the twin braids style is on an Argonian, the feathers are either black or some shade of green no matter what colour you use.

I'd assume it is because of the texture that style uses.

Looks like some dirty Dreads if you ask me. Guessing they dont smell great either.
