Are there any sets comparable to bahsies that don't rely on micromanagement of resources

Magplar can top 90K wearing overwhelming surge and war maiden if your rotation is right. Of course that same rotation in Kinras and Bahsei hits 20K higher but that’s another story for another time!

I have Bahsies on body at min and dealy strike front barred with perf vma inferno on back. Would sioria see better results than deadly if so how many stacks would be needed to do so?

I actually run same setup you mentioned in trials because Kinras stacks can be hard to keep up sometimes between certain mechs. Deadly and Bahsei is probably the best you can get for magplar in content because Magplar is one of the most resource intensive toons you can play making it easy to manage to keep your mag low enough for Bahsei. To be honest Siroria to me is Kinras light. Hits pretty solid still but again relies on stacks where Deadly you get your same flat 15% every time your dots tick or you spam your sweeps.

This thread might help me.

Got a High Elf Magplar, and currently geared up with Julianos and MSorrow. I do not have access to trials.

Homed out of VV. I noted that War Maiden had a good spell damage buff but only for Magic damage, and I have collected the gear to try a new build. I am pretty sure that my current slots are all Magic damage except for Unstable Wall, so it seemed like a not bad set.

Ticket book is fairly full on base dungeon gear and likely only a 3rd down on DLC gear.

I understand that DPS output is not just about gear, but I have been looking to bring this fellow back on line and was wondering if there are some "obvious" combos that work better than what I have.

I have only been doing PUG dungeons.

Deadly Strike(guild vendors)/Kinras
War Maiden/Siroria/Mother Sorrow
Nerieth monster set

This combo will neat You around 85k dps depending on your rotation, play around to get 125% bonus crit damage(usually 2 medium pieces on body if you can sustain it)

Yesterday I did 98k parse with Nerie, Siroria and Kinra(96k with Deadly Dtrike) as khajiit

You dont need kilt, you dont need Bashei, you don't need perfect weaving

That +15% on "channeled" abilities looks nice.

Just tried finding out what "channeled" abilities are for my Magplar, and did not get a clear answer. need to research that.

Can you point me to any links or do you know what they are for a Templar?

If ability has channel time(not cast time like crushing blow from 2h) it is channel ability. Yeah I know, easy as that.

Jabs, Beam, Sweeps ult, from top of my head, it may be wrong on Sweeps

Also, Siroria can be farmed on normal as well as kinra.

And nice thing about Deadly, it does not have any proc or stack mechanic, it is raw boost to those abilites

I believe SkinnyCheeks had something mentioned about channeled abilites, video is called "things we need to clear out" or something like that

It would be interesting to see the damage if Radiant Oppression is a "channeled". Particularly if I can combine WarMaiden with the Deadly Strike.

15% bump on "channeled" as well as total of almost 1000 spell damage.

Also was going to put Bloodthirsty onto my jewelry.

Only downside is reduction on Crit if I go off of all that MSorrow buff.

Highest parse I got in the setup you mentioned above was 95K compared to Deadly + perf Bahsei where I got 102K.

Bahsei exceeds the max damage of Siroria which is capped at 520 (weapon/spell damage to al abilities) with 10 stacks. War Maiden only comes in slightly higher than Siroria and only on Magplar as it gives an extra 600 damage to magic damage abilities which is the majority of magplar damage.

The flat bonus increase from sets like Kinras and Bahsei outperform both of those sets which is why they are BiS by a long way in all other classes except magplar where the Deadly + Bahsei combo with perform about 2K less than Kinras without the headache of maintaining stacks.

The think for me - and I will admit I have not tried - is that I thought I could only access Siroria or Bahsei while doing trials. And for trials, do I not need to be part of a guild or have enough "friends" to make a group?

Don't have that yet. So all my gear is from non trial sets.

I have been starting to look for guilds - not so much for my DPS but for my tank - but have not got that far yet to pick one.

But I just checked and Kinras is a dungeon set, so I could start looking at that one.

So are you suggesting Kinras and Deadly or Kinras and WMaiden for Magplar - if I do not have access to trial teams.

Kinras has a learning curve. And because it’s a medium set you would want it as weapons and jewelry. Deadly is also medium so that’s weapons and jewely as well. War maiden is a light set and can go on the body. Bahsei, Siroria, Mothers sorrow are also body. When you wear body sets they are active on any bar.

What I like to do is actually run deadly with overwhelming surge on the body for everything but Vet Trials. Sustain is difficult on magplar and overwhelming surge really helps out for that. It’s not a combination that will light up the leaderboards, but it’s effective enough in content while still performing ~90K on the dummy with a solid rotation.
