If you didn't follow the Epic trial against Apple, a lot of very interesting gaming industry dirty laundry was aired.
On this topic, we learned that Sony has a very interesting requirement for cross platform games that have loot crates.
If XB users generate more money via crates and subs, Sony would require ZOS to pay them a portion of those profits. That's what they did to Fortnite.
We have no way of knowing if Sony would demand this of ESO but it wouldn't surprise me. It's no secret that Sony has always resisted cross platform. Meanwhile MS made changes to XB in 2016 to increase cross platform capabilities. Take it how you want. Draw your own conclusions. 🤷♂️
