Bug Report Transparency?

When I report a bug it feels as though I am sending it into the void. There is no guarantee anyone has read it or is looking at it or ever will. There is no ongoing ESO known bugs list to see if my bug is on there.

If I order a pizza on Dominos it tells me John put your pizza in the order, If I submit a bug report I should get a notification saying John is reviewing your bug report. Why should I keep reporting bugs when I get no guarantee that they are looked at or ever seem to get fixed?

The key word in your sentence being "feels" , since in general, an overly emotional human's perception isn't always the reality.
There is no guarantee anyone has read it or is looking at it or ever will.
Being a former 'developer' myself (SWGEmu) , trust me the ESO Devs (or someone below them) most certainly reads EVERY single bug submission & report created by their in-game system. (even the redundant or eroneous ones)

And it's pretty safe to presume Zenimax must have some legit internal reason why BUG reports don't also include the automated received-reply Email which might make you or other people feel better with confirmation validation or whatever.

You mean other than the posted 'patch notes' lol --> https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/patch-notes
Why should I keep reporting bugs when I get no guarantee that they are looked at or ever seem to get fixed?
Quite a few 'ZOS_ ' representatives will post in the actual Bug Reports section when necessary: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/bug-reports

Other than that, typically only the QA Team or maybe Class-Reps are privy to additional transparency of a full list of every bug submitted. Regardless, "guarantees" are pretty tough to come by nowadays...in any realm. :|

The patch notes only include the bugs they have fixes for. Where is the list of every bug they know about ongoing in cyrodiil for instance? Bugs I've reported in cyrodiil months ago still haven't been fixed or even been acknowledged to exist. Why should I keep reporting bugs if there's no transparency?

New world has an entire known bugs list in their forums, why doesn't ESO?

Some of them are stickied here i believe: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/alliance-war

Welcome to MMO's lol jk ... umm, can you be more specific as to exactly which bugs you are referring? And did you report them here on Forums or in-game? (or both? )
Why should I keep reporting bugs if there's no transparency?
i sorta feel like that's either a rhetorical question or something you should be asking yourself. ( *my personal answer would be, after searching first to make sure my bug wasn't already reported on forums: To help make the game better for the greater good & playerbase overall)
New world has an entire known bugs list in their forums, why doesn't ESO?
I'm not sure, but my guess would be: It's not a fair comparison, since 'New World' is , well, a brand NEW game, no? Not a 9-year old game (with 9 years worth of code) like ESO is now. Although i recall back in beta testing Zenimax did have like a 'known issues' list. So i dunno, perhaps one of the green @ ZOS_ reps will respond eventually to your query.

If I had to guess, they use an internal system to track defects. This is not the same thing they use for customer reports, which is why they close them so quickly. Any response would be "moved to internal tracking system" and that is the last the player would hear from it. Given that hundreds may report the same bug, it just is not feasible to send out further email updates.

My prediction: It will not be long before that list is out of date and unmaintained. ESO probably has thousands of unfixed bugs, and New World will be no different if it gets to be as old as ESO.
