Proc crit chance

No one has asked or explained: do proc sets critical chance scale off your own or is it in dependant.

For example can we use cloak to force procs to crit

Cloak force-crits your next direct damage attack. Usually it's what procs your proc set out of stealth that is your very next direct attack, not the proc itself.

So its our crit chance but we can't cheese it with cloak

What about vate 2h? I'm fairly sure you can miss medium attack on purpose and still launch explosion. Probably not worth it tho.
