ESO & Sound Blaster Z issues

Are there any known issues?

I have been having a problem for quite a while on & off, where the sound randomly switches from speakers to headphones and back. It used to only happen briefly but in the past week it's gotten much worse. There appears to be no pattern. Some times it will remain in one mode for a few minutes, others it will switch back & forth every second.

The problem continues even after I shut ESO down, but it always begins while I am playing ESO.

Does anyone else have this problem or know of a solution?

I have had the problem in the past but not to your extent. To me it seemed to change only on certain pc reboots not while playing ESO.

Haven't had the problem in about six months or so. Only thing I could suggest is making sure your BIOS, chipset & cpu drivers are up to date, especially if using a Ryzen processor.

If it helps my SBZ driver version is 6.0.102.75 according to device manager

I'm not sure how to update that stuff. I have an Intel processor.

My SBZ driver is 10.0.19041.1. I have tried updating but it says it already has the latest. I also manually downloaded them from Creative to no effect.
