I love the design of gamepad ui, but the lag and weird bugs (lately all synergies are hidden by purify) are just too much for vet trials tanking. I have really bad carpal plus a connective tissue disease in my hands; a controller is the only way I can play comfortably.
TLDR; looking for a way to have ESO in keyboard ui, but still be able to use a controller.

I have Steam launch the game, I don't use the Steam game version but have Steam launch the standalone game, because then I can have Steam handle the controller part with their controller profiles. You can assign pretty much anything to the buttons with Steam controller profiles.
I haven't had any issues with lag or bugs and allows me to play for long periods of time without discomfort because I use a keyboard all day for work.

Here are examples of keyboards and mouse my wife has used and she has really bad carpal tunnel and other hands issues. She can work for 8-10 using these without too much issues. I highly recommend them if you want to use a keyboard.
Keyboard
Mouse
If you prefer having a controller I find PS5 controller comfort far outweighs PS4 controller. Another options is XBox One Elite controller.

Thanks but it’s the motion of the mouse for camera that gets me, plus that hand position. I’m using a Elite Series 2 right now, but Win 11 arguably made response times worse. I’ve tried trackball mice but it was too much of a struggle to use.
