There are vignettes when you open a menu in combat, when you’re close to death, when you reach a tel var multiplier… maybe more I can’t recall. They seem pretty minimal and situational to me, though. Not sure it would be a popular request to toggle them off.

So could you provide the definition you're familiar with?

In this context it’s a photography/graphics art term for a border that blurs the edges of an image. Makes sense that some may have not encountered it before.

Look at the sky, focus on the corner edges of the image. You'll see they're darker and splotchy to an extent. Thats vignetting and its pointless.
