Update on Year/s* of Performance?

Still waiting for ZOS to "spin up a new thread" (as stated here: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/539136/update-on-cyrodiil-performance-upcoming-aoe-tests#latest )

What are the upcoming plans? Were there mentions in any live streams or other posts?

As the tweet stated, the "new servers" did/will not likely have a direct impact on in-game performance. I'm fairly certain we've all gathered that by now. Have they ensured the prevention of "outdated hardware failures"?

Note: Their own tweet refers to their hardware as outdated.

We all love this game in one way or another and want to support this stuff and see performance get to where it needs to be, or at least marginally better would be quite appreciated. Performance is on a decline game-wide. Not just in pvp areas. Are there any plans to update things further? We'd all like to assume that there are going to be chapters and dlcs for years to come. At some point, that hamster wheel is going to be unmanned if there isn't a plan?

Share some info with us please! Help us want to keep investing in purchases and subscriptions, so that it helps maintain the resources to keep the game going.

They won't do public updates anymore like roadmap etc. before something starts to actually change. All we know is that engineering team is working on server load issues, that's it. The only new word may emerge when they'll present new 4 dlc details but that unlikely to include anything concerning that part of performance so no point in waiting for a miracle now.
