All my Storage Coffer's empty after deleting a level 3 alt character

Hello -

All my items in my storage coffers in my home are empty. This had a lot of gear and items I considered very valuable to me and that I worked very hard to collect.

The only thing I can think of that would do this is that I decided earlier today that I wanted to delete a level 3 character I did not want to play to open up a character slot to make a new Mag Sorc.

Well... when I logged in tonight to get some gearsets from the coffers.... all of them were empty... ALL of my monster helms, a ton of crafted gear sets, farmed gear sets, my vateshran 2hander, etc...

Is there a way to recover this gear?!

I would suggest creating a ticket and detail what occurred. Make sure to include what server/platform, character names are involved which would include the character you first noticed the problem.

There is a known issue with losing items from storage chests which will be fixed later today by a hotfix.

An update has been posted here regarding the storage chests. The issue is now hotfixed and should no longer happen, however we are still investigating a fix for players who have already encountered this issue and are missing the contents of their housing storage chests.
