Is there a date for a no proc campaign option. Don't really care to go back to the cheese play... was just so boring and randomly stupid in terms of balance and enjoyment of combat.

That's exactly what I wanted personally. Still requires skill to use those high stats effectively. The old proc meta was skill enhancing sets decided the victor, not the actual skill of said victor. Besides all the bugs and bombers(lol) I really like this patch!

Not really man......two sides of the same coin. If you do good builds based on stats alone you consider race, class, passives, buff, debuffs and finally develop a rotation. If you use proc sets you do builds considering race, class, passives, buff, debuffs and finally develop a rotation. They are identical in nature and either you select what works well or you dont. To think one is 'skill' and the other is dumb luck is ......shortsighted and likely bias due to having an affinity for one method vs the other.
Its rather like solo play, ganking, organized groups, 1vx play......they all require the same skillsets to be applied to be successful.....to think or claim one is superior to the other in skills required is just that bias of what you are good at creeping in.

Lol nani? So you mean to tell me that the old proc meta where is was mega free damage for simply just doing damage, most couldn't be dodged or purged and you can build mega tanky, is the same as wearing really high stat sets and having to do all the damage and healing yourself with your abilities, reflexes, and timing...? That makes absolutely no sense to say the least.

Just have to ignore the details in the word "rotation" and it all makes sense. Hide the facts and make it sound good
Well, have you ever actually played one of these proc builds?Dominion_Nightblade wrote: »LOL WAT?! You guys are just trolling me now..lol

Not that exact setup, but I've played with pet cheese and Zaan. Yea it melts the full potatoes that stand in your Zaan, but that's also one of the easiest procs to counter, and the damage was pretty mediocre outside of that (CP Cyro). Those sort of proc builds actually played very similarly to the stat based attrition builds that existed before they nerfed the hell out of dots/bleeds/defiles. It was a much more dynamic meta than the current one shot fest.Dominion_Nightblade wrote: »You ever play one of those wardens with vVH destro, zaans, pre nerf malacath. You know the ones with the bear ulti for body block and massive damage. Almost unkillable and godly damage.
