Tips for warden pve healer

dragonflame
I mostly main templar and necro healer. However, I tried wadern and it may favorite healer. My only problem is that when the team take a lot of damage and they are aren't close together. Some one usually die. The mushrooms dont see to reach them in time and healing ward only cover one person. I may use the altar skills
What are the best skills for a Omigosh everyone about to die moment for wadern. Any other tip would be appreciated. Thank you

You need to face the low-health team member and heal them with mushrooms or combat prayer. Spam radiating regeneration too. But to be honest if players wander too far away from the healer it's not your fault if they die.

I find I have the same issue on my warden healer, I can struggle in those oh shoot moments where I miss having a generic burst heal (too spoiled by the sorc matriach). Earthgore to save the day.

In theory, Healing Seed can fulfill this function, both through the synergy and potentially also the forced burst.

Does anybody successfully use it that way?

I've use as a burst heal, so it can function as one. However, when your team is spread out and everyone taken a massive amount of damage. It can be somewhat difficult to use healing seed and morphs. Most of the time it can take care of the damage. Your teammates have to be together or you have to use seeds or forest ult.

I actually would use the Enchanted Forest ulti pretty often in PVE. It's not preferred to warhorn in endgame, obviously, but it is cheap to cast and gives back a pretty huge dose of ultimate so you can often safely throw it down early and still be ready with a warhorn by the time it's your turn.

Resto staff ulti has a similar effect, but without the ulti kickback. Light's Champion though is sometimes an acceptable stand-in for warhorn when circumstances demand it.

Outside of that, Bursting Vines tends to be the strongest burst heal in the Warden kit, but it's a little complicated to use as it screws with positioning and isn't particularly easy to use on the tank. Budding seeds is also a good option, though it takes a couple steps to deliver its burst. If you can animation cancel well, though, it's a pretty solid (and very cheap) burst heal.

Ty. I mostly use war horn and the healing shield ult if something happens. Enchanted forest does seems like a good alternative until I get better with positioning with my wadern. I tried vines once it was a confusing because I couldn't tell it it was doing anything. I need to get in the habit of canceling with budding because it would help with my healing alot

Depending on content, I run one of my Warden's with Lamias; that way any Ulti heal (Forest or, resto staff or for that matter warhorn) also gets a blast of healing.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

When your team dies, they usually are being careless about standing in stupid or are just plainly glass cannons. This patch everyone thinks they can run parse food. 🤦‍♂️ That is not your fault.

My Warden healer is the buff bot. Warden has the best tool kit for that. That is where the warden healer really shines. So I use jorvuld's guidance and Spell power cure with iceheart (i know 😉) or either symphony or sentinel. The second healer on raids should be the "healing healer"/ kyte healer.

You should backbar seeds and shrooms with elemental blockade, blue betty, frostcloack and warhorn on a charged ice staff. Frontbar restoration staff heals with orbs and inner light, any ultimate for passives.

For CP take some active stars, that increase stats, instead of 10% heal power. I talked a lot about that with healers in my guild(s), and nearly all prefer that.

Got to watch positioning more as warden healer. It will take practice. Also shrooms are perfect if in right direction. Otherwise rapid Regen till you position self

Enchanted Growth is perfect when the group is not stacked too well - its AoE is cone-shaped so it will hit more targets than Combat Prayer (it has stronger heal as well). If the group is stacked and you are nearby then keep Illustrious Healing + Budding Seeds up all the time and use Combat Prayer.

In intense moments (like vCR execute) both Overflowing Altar and Bone Surge will be really helpful (Bone Surge only when you're group healer, because synergy radius is really low).

Thanks everyone for the tips. They really helped out alot. I've been using shrooms, the rapid three person HOT and seeds as burst heal. My positioning is still a little off but it is getting better.

Anything that needs to be sloted to increase healing is waste of a slot especially when max magicka and spell damage increase it more.

P.S wait till next week. Next patch has cooler healer cp stars

There is not much 'travel time' involved, even though animation would suggest it. Heal is almost instant (as long as someone is inside the AoE ofc).

Radiating heals small portion of HP every 1 second for 10 seconds - it's typical HoT (heal over time), but it has small burst-heal potential. Generally you want to use it whenever you have nothing else to do (all your buffs are up and everyone is fairly healthy) just to keep HoT up on the group. When you need to outheal the mechanic (laser in SS first boss, heal debuff in CR execute, poison in AA/SO etc) or someone is really low HP then you should pretty much spam your burst AoE heals (Combat Prayer / Enchanted Growth).
