Does being maxed out in a profession increase the chances of a survey dropping?
You wouldn't worry so much about what other people thought about you, if you knew how little they did. - ??

✭✭✭✭✭No. Survey drops are 1 in 8 regardless of writ level, profession level, or any other metric.
Gold mats change with writ level

✭I've heard rumors that achievment points increase drop rate. I recently got mastercrafter and got fairly lucky since then. But there is no statistic evidence that it's more than just a coincidence.
