Hello and welcome to my PvP Builds & Guides thread!

My name is Nirnstorm, I've been playing PvP in ESO for 7 years (since beta) and creating ESO content for 2-3 years now.
I recently created a website dedicated to PvP content exclusively to provide a source for high quality PvP builds and guides that are written by top PvP players for new and experienced players alike.

For this, I have teamed up with @Ghostbane, MalcolM, AnimationCancelling, @Akinos, @StaticWave, @caeliusstarbreaker, @Grimhallow @FakeZavos & @Heresyall to create the best builds and guides and bring them to the community. Huge shoutout to the crew!

Looking at your mag sorc build for Cyrodiil to see how I might improve mine. If this build is optimized for CP Cyrodiil, I wonder whether taking Spinner’s as a second 5-piece set is perhaps better for no-CP for the penetration? Or is gearing for maximum magicka still the best strategy?

In my opinion, gearing for full magicka is definitely the right way to go still, as it increases your shield strength as well as your damage, whereas pen only helps offensively, but not defensively, which is super problematic especially in no-CP.

However this build was not made by me but rather by MalcolM from our team, who's a far better expert in Magsorcs than me. Feel free to join his discord server or any of his socials through the links on the build page and ask him personally if you like, I'm sure he'll be able to explain best!

Yes, I feel like for most mag classes this patch you'd have to make very big changes to adapt them from Cyrodiil no-proc to BGs where proc sets are incredibly common. Luckily however, next patch will once again make both environments have similar rulesets, and we'll be able to focus on one build per class to play in both activities!
