Where is the housing love?

With each update and new chapter it seems we are getting new (enormous) houses, new furnishings, and new houseguests, but where are the improvements to housing? I have been playing for over two years now and am a regular reader of this forum. What I have noticed in that time s that very little attention has been given to improving housing beyond what can be monetized. I have seen the same wish lists for the past two years with little to no changes. No new smaller houses, no increase to furnishing limits, no ability to share our homes beyond our primary, etc. ZOS gleefully takes our money, as everyone knows housing can get real expensive if one is so inclined, and ignores our requests for improvements. Does anyone think this will change in any significant way in the future? I'm about at the point where I've given up hope for anything better.

Most players who are into housing have more than one house. I know I'd like my friends to be able to check out all my homes at their leisure.

Just put a drop-down menu of all our houses so visitors can choose which they want to travel to. They could make it so the owner could "hide" homes they don't want others to visit for whatever reason, so they don't show up on the list.

We can portal to outside homes now which is a really nice utility feature and they just added patching and houseguests and the antiquities furniture so things are moving and being added. I expect we will probably see more.

This. There's a PC Addon that does it so the backend has to be there. I think people have been asking for this since the beginning.

I believe what's missing here is communication. I know some of these are being thought about and I expect some have plans in the future to be worked on - depending on schedules, stability, and other issues.

I'd like to point out precision housing tool was a HUGE HUGE improvement. It's not like the housing people are sitting there twiddling their thumbs and only making huge houses, either. It would be nice to know at least a little of what's being worked on or at least be told we have been heard and they are thinking about options. You'd increase community morale

From what I understand this addon is one the visitor uses, and the homeowner has no control over it. The property owner should be the one controlling access to their homes.

Also, this addon is only available for PC users. That eliminates all the console players.

The homeowner always has control and has to allow visitors. But I agree this is absolutely a feature that should be in the base game! We should be able to feature several of our homes in some sort of directory searchable by home and user ID at the least!

This was such a great improvement for us console players! Things that used to take me hours to line up properly can be done in seconds!

More communication would be appreciated, for now I just have to assume that they have more stuff to add but are limited in how fast they can implement them due to what can be included in each update.

There's the precision tools, the house guests, pathing, and now the option to port outside houses (Edit:) and the better preview options (/edit). Also they did not repeat what they did with Elsweyr - to give all new housing blueprints at once and none for the rest of the year. And we finally got the cute little mammoth and bear statues from Wrothgar ;-)
So there is housing love in the past 12 months. It would be unfair not to point that out.
Of course the housing community has still lots of wishes and complaints. Who would not want middle sized houses or a couple small ones instead of huge grounds that make 700 slots look like empty.
Communication is always good, but I get the feeling that they listen - they just pick out what they want and dont talk about it.
