1) I wish that we could have multiple master writs open at the same time instead of having to do them one at a time.
2) I wish that I could get gold Provisioning master writs.
3) I wish that I could get gold Jewelry master writs more frequently (haven't gotten one since the change).

    1) That would be convenient, yes. Now I just fulfill extra so that I can accept the quests and turn in several items when I visit Master Rolis. Of course it’s nice to have the arrows as reassurance that I haven’t mistaken anything, but I just double-check. :)

    2) Agreed, so long as the number of writs are commensurate with the material cost.

    3) Wow, with the price of chromium, those would have to award 1000 writs for me to consider doing one! :scream:

    1) Our best option at the moment, and my MO, it's to craft the items required in master writs you wish to deliver and only open/activate the master writs upon delivery. With this MO I tend to deliver batches of 25-40 master writs at a time. It all mainly depends on the slots available my inventory space.
Alchemy and provisioning master writs items stack, so that's an important slot saver.
    2) My only is advise is that your char(s) learn as many purple recipes as possible. That increases the odds of master writs dropping. And of course, rng also plays a key factor.
    3) Rare drops to me, I only got 3 or 4 since the jewelry master writs refurbishing. They were all above 600 voucher writs per master writ.

What I assume they meant was that if you have say, 2 alchemy writs that ask for the exact same thing, the writs themselves won't stack, but when you craft the products for the 2 writs, those will stack. As in, 32 potions of stamina in one stack for example. For provisioning, this is very noticeable since there's far less variation than alchemy in what you're asked to craft.

The fact that similar writs aren't even sorted together, let alone stacked, means finding what things to pre-make is a real pain on the console.

    That is a serious problem.

Note that saying "add-on XYZ handles that" is a bad reply for anything since consoles do not have those add-ons and thus need things in the game itself, not in an add-on!

Perhaps, but that will never happen.

That is why I argue that the functionality of any key addon should be part of the game.

Adding something like I think WritWorthy works would help here. The guild vendor addon would help that system a lot as well. Those being just 2 examples.

Four QOL issue for crafting writs I would like to see happen not already mentioned above.

    1. Add improvement so we can do it all at once and not have improve and item one step at a time.

    2. Change the format of the wording on master writs to “set”, “item”, “style” then “trait” then “improvement such as epic etc.” To make the format in line with how we select the item to make it.

    3. Since on console we can only have one of each writ open at a time. I generally take a picture of writ on my tablet and have it open to make a bunch at a time. Primarily to save time and see less loading screens. It would help so much if you would alphabetize the motifs to make them easier to find. That or add the style number in master writ and then add the numbers in the crafting window.

    4. Add Rolis Hlaalu as an NPC we can add to our homes so we can turn in master writs without leaving our crafting halls. Loads screens and all.

Bonus it would be nice to see all the plans individually Rolis Hlaalu assistant is selling in each bundle of past plans.

Stay safe and enjoy the journey 😊

Or at least you could combine the same ones into one that required more components, but that gave more vouchers. It took me 1-2 hours to clear a bunch out on one character last weekend. Probably not worth it since I just pile these up, but I may use use them at some point.

    Stop wasting our time however!

I'd like the recipe menu to be moved AWAY from the reward containers in inventory. Last night i had a non crafter toon get a 200k plan from a daily in the Reach and I accidentally used it while opening the other daily reward containers. I have so many non-crafter toons with plans I can't use it's sickening.

This is especially a problem when it is during an event like the one we just had where you also get reward boxes. It is far too easy to accidentally open something when you try to quickly click through things!

Most of this stuff is about time-saving/removing "busywork" in Crafting so I can do things in game that are more fun for me - like running dungeons and battlegrounds for example. I play on console so some of these might not be an issue on PC.

    - Jewelry-crafting Hirelings.
    - Ability to start and turn in Daily Crafting & Master Writs in Player Homes.
    - Hirelings for surveys - perhaps it's an NPC you go visit and send them off on runs which are on timers.
    - When crafting a master writ item, have the option to auto-craft it at the required quality.
    - Add more motif books to the Writ Voucher catalogue, perhaps these can be on a rotation.

(...) Master Writs stack? I have not seen that. (...)
Master writs don't stack that's why you need a lot of free slots in your inventory if you wish to turn in a load of master writs all at once: if you wish to deliver 30 master writ gear pieces and/or runes you need 30 slots for the master writs + 30 slots for gear pieces and/or runes.
The only items that stack are pots (alchemy and psijic ambrosia) and meals, even if there's several different master writs asking for them. Eg: 3 master writs asking for psijic ambrosia, all the crafted psijic ambrosia (24 items) will only take 1 slot on your inventory.

i wish they would put the styles in alphabetical order.

the chevron shows up on the writ youre doing but if you are doing more than one you have to scroll through manually and it is downright maddening.

You could use the master writs module on my website https://mastersofcraft.info to keep track of your master writs and then craft all items for them at once. Them go to master writs merchants, start xp boost (optionally), then activate each master writ, turn it in and active next writ, etc. (More info in this post: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/575036/tools-for-crafters#latest)
