It's AP farming session you know.
From what I noticed on many campaigns, people who usually fight and use proc sets in ballgroups prefere to farm AP by taking keeps. There are more sieges during MYM than usually, and less huge fights.
12 hardcore PVP players using proc sets and aoe spam havent the same impact on performances than 12 casual players doing pvp for the first time.
Maybe you saw more "big fights" but it wasnt the same ones.

You could be right.
Still, it's annoying that it generally takes me 15 minutes of Greyhost normal PvP to get annoyed and log out whereas during MYM, I can sometimes go an entire night without logging off in frustration.
So whether the tinfoil hats are right that ZOS feeds their hamsters a little extra juice during MYM or whether PvP rewards are worth enough to entice PvErs to come play, whichever it is, it would be nice to have more than 10 days out of the year.

Where did they say that?

During the so-called "tests", they said they're trying to fix the problems of PvP servers.
What they did was conducting multiple tests to restrict how players play the game.
In a past MYM (I forgot when), iirc ZOS announced that they temporarily allocated more resources to PvP servers during MYM.

No more boring grinding for new sets, no more p2w mythic items.
I just played for a while and it's awesome!
