Where is Stone Eagle Aeri? Is it coming with Oblivion Chaptor? Is this a joke?

Agreed. It's really the only thing I truly want in the game right now that's a crown item, so I'm sitting on my crowns until I know how much it is. Guess I'll be sitting at least another month.

I’m gonna guess having this house connected to the thieves guild is causing bugs they can’t fix so they aren’t releasing it or talking about. That’s my guess anyways. But mega irritated that this house is STILL unavailable.

I don't get it- the Stone Eagle house was advertised as part of the Markarth DLC. Yet it hasn't yet been available?

Why the hell introduce new houses with seemingly no plans to put them up in the crown store?

Agree that it's pretty ridiculous that they release the DLC-house almost a fully quarter after the DLC is over, lol.
(Shalidor's was in Western Skyrim so it's not really 'the Reach house' even if it came out in December).

My guess is that they will release Stone Eagle in March. Flames of Ambition will launch in March on all Platforms, and they added extra drops to Markarth dailies on the PTS so I think it will be their attempt to inject some life into Markarth.

I really dislike that they started to do this - essentially releasing a DLC at launch, but adding extra content to that DLC post-launch so all the grinding people did originally time is more worthless than the grinding they have to do months later in the same content. Kinda transparent that a game company feels the need to stretch their content this thinly across the months. Such a shame - I thought Markarth had pretty good content for a DLC already with the Arena and the new Furnishing style.

Ive been waiting quite a while for this one too. Maybe they are going to drop a surprise on us with the chapter and tell us that we can now have more furnishings in houses and this is going to be the one they drop with that. Yeah i know wishful thinking.

Hope not. Firstly because I want Stone Eagle sooner, lol. But I also got the impression the House morph of the pet (lol, it's still bizarre to type that) would be later on in the year, as they usually do their 'free house' promotion events in the 2nd half of the year. If the morphs are Deadlands themed (the orb, and the skin so far seem to be), then we might get the house Deadlands themed too, which may make it a Q3 or Q4 morph as the Q4 DLC will go there. This is just speculation though.

Agreed that it is indeed really weird not having a house in Markarth available when the zone is. It will indeed be a ghost town in June when the new chapter is released, just like Western Skyrim is now.

Also having Markarth structure furnishings drop from dailies in a zone that has been available for months is just weird. Like why make them drop NOW when you are advertising a new chapter? I just don't understand the reason behind it.

I saved my crowns for this house. They waited too long. My teen daughters started playing again and needed things 🤣 so now I'm crown broke again. I did finally get Grand Topal (always wanted) but had to buy crowns from a guildie to get it, so now I'm gold broke too. Yeah, this whole thing is messed up. But, I have to think something was bugged for them to not release it by now.

With the furniture and motifs i think they are pacing them more because everyone blows through the zone in a month or two and then moves on. If they release it gradually there is more interest longer.

They wait so long and all the hype evaporates. I feel if they had released Stone Eagle with the DLC (or when the DLC was launched on all platforms) then they would have sold a lot more of them. When it finally releases a lot of us will have eyes on other upcoming houses and it suddenly has competition that it wouldn't have had if it had launched earlier.

Same as Bastion really, first week of Greymoor people were asking all the time in chat "when is Bastion going to be available" and the answer was always "we don't know". Then interest tapered off after that. I don't know how many they sold (I have seen some AMAZING builds there, but it feels they would sell more if they sold when excitement was highest)

Players want this house as a place to enjoy while the zone is active. Once the new chapter comes out it will be a ghost town.

I am also disappointed that they are waiting so long to include the Markarth furnishing plans in the daily rewards and the Wayward Guardian motif pages also. I am so tired of doing these dailies, but I have no choice if I want these things, plus enough Arkthzand Sprockets to craft any furnishings at all.

Psh, I want easy access to the refuge. Guaranteed always safe, always the right port, and only 2 load screens.

But these houses are dropped usually about 6 weeks apart. We should see it in March. With everything they put in the crown store, there will always be competition for what people want to spend their money on. ZOS plans new releases around old re-releases (or vice versa).

That is also a nice feature to the house, but when Elsweyr came out I was doing stealing runs there, and when Greymoor came out I moved on to that area. Again, most people will spend much more time in the new chapter.

I haven’t had much success with stealing runs in Markarth, maybe others have had better luck. In Elsweyr at least you could get cool furnishing items.

I think part of the problem is that they made the house too big and expensive for what it should have been, which is an easily acquired home base in Markarth. They completely overkilled it and now they don't know what to do with it. They should have given us a free apartment in Markarth like the Snowmelt Suite in Solitude, and/or a smaller Staple sized home that could be bought or earned. The Stone Eagle Aerie arguably should have been given as a reward for completing the zone story, like the Hall of the Lunar Champion was in Rimmen.

Yep, I would have bought the Markarth home.... but those funds are being redirected to the upcoming Ayleid offering.

Some of their marketing decisions are real headscratchers.

Anyone think it’ll come out in March or are we giving up hope on this house getting released sometime this year?

Think so. Flames of Ambition adds a bunch of new Markarth furniture recipes, both to the Reach daily drop tables and to the writ voucher merchant. So now is really the last 'appropriate' time to release Stone Eagle. Of course, they could always hold on to it for mysterious reasons... but I doubt it. Guess we'll see when the March Showcase comes out!
