Does researching a loot set-item add it to the Sticker Book?

I know that deconstruction is stated in the patch notes and all the guides, but Research isn't mentioned by name.
Research destroys the item, but want to make sure that counts as Sticker Book deconstruction.
Just want to check before I answer on another forum.

✭✭✭✭✭Research will add it to the stickerbook. Vendoring and even destroying an item will also work. If you vendor it, you need to wipe it off the buyback list so it may take some time for the addition that way.1
