Tamriel Homes Beginners Housing Guild Contest: Museum/Gallery Deadline: Sat. 14 Februari
Showcase your treasures found or created in a museum or gallery! A contest specifically for those inexperienced in housing and housing contests!
Prizes:
1st - 500k + 150 writ vouchers to spend
2nd - 350k +100 writ vouchers
3rd. - 275k +100 writ vouchers
4th. - 150k +75 writ vouchers
5th. - 100k +75 writ vouchers
Raffle: 3x 50k among the contestants
Rules:
-Make a Museum or Gallery! Can be a full museum, gallery or just a wing.
-Home must be a Staple home (200 slots, 6 visitors). https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Staple+Homes
-Since it is meant for contest beginners, people who have previously won a prize in a housing contest or make commission houses are excluded.
-The decorating is done by yourself, no EHT effects, no limit on special furnishings.
-House needs to be set to primary and accessible through the guild roster during voting, so you need to be a guild member in-game during the voting period. We are often full, so if you can't find us on guild finder, you can go trough our discord instead or send a mail to @sorries in game. ( https://discord.gg/CVXKWmg)

✭✭✭✭I understand that you might prefer to restrict this contest to members of your guild, but purely for information purposes, it is possible to allow a guild entry to one's house, even while not being a member of that guild.
Just so's ya' knows...Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

It is because we decide the winner through voting, guild members visit all the homes and send in their top 5. Usually we get about 70 votes. So instead of a judged contest, where the house only needs to be accessible to a handful of people, the house needs to be accessible to all the voters.
Not everyone is on discord and not everyone uses addons, specifically port addons in this case. So we use the roster notes to highlight who entered and what number they are in order to make it easy to keep track.
So while theoretically you can add non-guild entries, it means the participant risks losing votes from everyone who either doesn't have discord or doesn't like to use addons. And it would be kinda sad for everyone if a lot of people have a hard time getting into your home that you worked so hard on, the recent permission glitch was a testament to that. There isn't really a place to publish the extra non-guild entries in-game either. So to add non-guild participation we would instead have to cut off our community voting participation and that would be to take something away from our own members to the benefit of others.
We actually will take part in an open event soon that is server wide, but for our normal contest format it sadly doesn't work.
For our screenshot contests we usually don't mind if some non-guildies enter as well.GM Tamriel Homes - PC EU0
