frequent game freezing

i can’t play this game because of constant freezing. I have had the game freeze while loading into my character list as well as anythime I enter a new realm. have gotten the error sometimes saying error accessing realm directory.

Are these crashes happening on more then one character?

If you've not done so, you should try the crash troubleshooting here and see if these steps improve the frequent crashes you've been experiencing.

Not sure since I mostly play on my first character and that has been where the crashing has taken place.

This has also been happening me to a lot for the last week or so, mainly on my dps or healer toons.
