Just some bits of rhymes I wrote some days ago I wanted to share, hoping to rise some Ashlands vibes ^^
Enjoy!

A Lullaby from Ashlands
~ Grey Grains of Sands ~

Wandering dunes, of ashen grown
Spear in my hand, my soul drown
Ancestors guide me, for a shelter for rest
But all you'll give me are just grey grains of sands

As the Red wind blows, never bend to the Mount
As the Red wind blows, don't you ever be daunt

Behind my back, the marks of my track
In front of my sight, an oasis to land
But the water is gone, the ripe fruits away
And in my hands just grey grains of sands

As the Red wind blows, shall warmed by the Moon
As the Red wind blows, the Stars will come soon

And in the storm, the red diseasing wave
The ashes showed me, another soul and spear in awe
Azura took our homes, only to give us a friend
Because we are all just grey grains of sands

Thanks a lot to all the people have left a comment, in any way I appreciate them all!
Now, just a bit more rhymes I tried to write, this time with a bit more context ^^
This is just the first part of a three-pieces poetry I'm trying to write, settled during the Alessian revolution, when Pelinal Whitestrike, the Divine Crusade, during one of his famous wrath moment, tried to wipe out the Khajiiti, thinking they were elves. As the legend tells us reading The Song of Pelinal, Alkosh itself came down to protect the Khajiiti and 'shouting away' the Crusade, and leaving a time wound where it happened. In that very place, Khajiit built the Sunspire temple.
So, I've tried to put in poetry that very moment, when Pelinal is chasing the Khajiit people and Alkosh came to protect them.
Here the first part of three, the next ones incoming next days, as always these are just bits of rhymes with nothing serious and probably a lot of things wrong ^^ anyway, I hope you enjoy!

~ Prologue: Pursuit through Sands ~
To my sons and daughters, this one will tell
A time before time, when Time itself with us stand
Against the furious star, who seek our end
High there on the Spire, where the Sun dwell

    Clash of Claws and Stars
    ~ Part 1: Exodus ~

No more fire, no more death
The screams rise, with final breaths
A furious run, on mountain's edge
And a following chorus, "We are not Mer!"

But the raging star, a knight of white
Pursue the Khajiit, until the mountain's high
The blood dripping sword, through chests of cubs
"You're not worth living, you elvish mobs!"

Times of fury, times of despair
The cat people cornered, their fate so unfair
While the Whitestrike reach them with his last run
And that was the moment, the mighty shine of Sun

Like thousand flames, a roaring thunder
His wings spreaded, the knight's resolve asunder
While staring at Alkosh's glory, on mount's top standing
Protecting the Khajiit, his power to their shielding

An enraged yell, the knight of stars emits
The mountain trembles, for his mad rage
While the Dragon Cat stares, not a flinch he tilts
"Aside from my people, or you'll pay the wage."

I thank again everyone has read and left a comment on these little pieces of mine ^^
Now as promised, here the second part! Probably, already warming you, the third and last part will come next Wednesday!
I hope you will enjoy the reading!
    Clash of Claws and Stars
    ~ Part 2: Speech ~

He stands his ground, the knight of white
His armor sparkling, under the First Cat shine
Who looks down on him, a judging stare
And Whitestrike stands back, like an afraid hare

"You will go away, to your Queen of Slaves,
Your fury sated, and never come back to Elsweyr."
As Alkosh stops his talk, the Star-Made laughs loud
The Dragon God astonished, the trembling cats crowd

"Your fake scales, the waning shine,
The roar downscaling, should I bow to such whine?
Elven cries bring you here, but the fall is thin
Beware my wrath, demon, you're no God of mine!"

A slow growl comes from Alkosh throat
Frustrated and tired, the salvation of Khajiit he wants
"You heard my warning, my words speak truth
Spare this people, their plead comes at you."

The knight draws the sword, the dream rises up again
His sparkling eyes, two deathbringer gems
The grip on his holy sword, an uprising chant
Of blood and carnage, "the Dreamer fled."

Here we are, as promised, the third part of this little poem ^^
Also, little warning, I will update the first part with a little prologue, just few rhymes to introduce the poetry, and as well this part will contain a little epilogue!
As always, this is nothing serious, just some bits of poetry ^^
I hope you could enjoy the reading!
    Clash of Claws and Stars
    ~ Part 3: Knightfall ~

The clouds rumble, a called storm coming
While Khajiiti seek shelther, a place to hide
And Alkosh stands up, his fiery throat roaring
Because Whitestrike comes, his judgement aside

The knight leaps high, divine light around him
Empowering his blade, of flames engulfed
And dives down, on Khajiiti crowd in between
A shining trail behind, the armor power surged

The grieving heart, the Alkosh's sorrow
For such great warrior, the fall will follow
Because the Divine knows, Time will narrow
Around Pelinal's neck, and won't be any barrow

The Divine just speaks, few words of Doom
And disdain and banishment, cursing him to roam
Across Elsweyr, like a swearing comet
Upon him the decree of Time, his God despisement

The mind cleared, from his rage awaken
Shame on him, for his dark commitment
To end a peaceful kind, no wrongs by them maken
And the knight of white mourns, for the Dragon God real earnment.

    ~ Epilogue: Final Words ~
This one's not angry, this one's not sad
For such furious and pitiless broken man
His end written, it drove him mad
While now we cheer, among warm sands.

Trying to keep up with my efforts to write some good pieces of poetry, even if not always totally lore-friendly (could be, there is a lot of personal interpretation) but always trying to keep them more lore-friendly as I can ^^
This time I tried to write something about the Hulkynd, for the ones who don't know, a really curious chapter in the Altmer society, difficult to approach and explain correctly and a practice diffused mostly in the Summerset Isles.
An Hulkynd is an Altmer born with deformity and physical malformations, and for this reason exiled from his family because not 'physically perfect' as the Altmer society require, and left abandoned in the woods or somewhere else.
The only Hulkynd in the ESO game is Manacar and actually the only source we can find about, abandoned and then rescued by priests of Stendarr, growing up like a ranger of the woods. So I tried to write something more about this really delicate argument, hoping no one will feel offended ^^
Enjoy the reading and as always, names and events are just my creation, so nothing serious here, just bits of poetry!

    ~ An Hulkynd tale ~

In the Mer cradle, in the land of Summer
Where the sea rules, in a city of shimmer
That Lord of Avundàle's wife had a son, a true heir
And joy and delightful spreads, the roads full of glimmer

But no laughs or cheers in the house of Avundàle,
No congrats or smiles, no rejoice to share
Because the child's legs were crippled, and awry shape
The ankles crooked, the bones twisted, bulging the golden hide

In the child's first cry the Father's shame awaken
To show such monster, his offspring's flaws exposed
So his heart grew colder, by his son ashamed
A choice was made, when the night the child was taken

For the time first and last, on his father's lap
The poor child was carried to a wood afar
And in a basket put with a blanket hug
No more words from the Lord of Avundàle, just an Hulkynd's fate

The roads were silent, the city in gloom
Shimmer vanished when the news were known
For that Lord of Avundàle son already dead when born
And no one will learn his true fate, the Hulkynd's Doom.
