Terrible team balancing (if there is any).
Terrible class balancing.
Mismatched numbers on teams that never get filled (4 v 4 v 3 is NEVER a fair game).
Terrible lag/delays in general.
Dodge rolls that don't dodge.
Break free taking 2-3 seconds to work, or never working at all.
Skills not locking on/targeting properly.
Skills that randomly just won't activate.
Bar swap taking 2-3 seconds to work or just never working at all.
DoTs and delayed skills continuing to damage you through death into respawn.
Not being able to play with friends in a MULTIPLAYER game.
Spawn camping - both ways.
Animations that don't remotely match their actual range.
That sorcerer rubberbanding streak bug that's still happening and was never addressed with the gap closer fixes.
Health bars not showing on some players.
Potions not working/being consumed despite playing sound effects.

    1. I agree
    2. Yeah
    3. sad but true
    4. its present in other game modes as well
    5. dodge roll nowadays is so desynced that 90% of times you end hit by a skill that should be dodgeable while dodging
    6. Some stuns/knockbacks I cant break free for seconds, yeah
    7. Same in every game mode
    8. true
    9. had that in Cyro more often
    10. lmoa ye
    11. couldnt care less tbh
    12. dont mind that
    13. yeah
    14. as if it wasnt hard enough to target them before, ikr
    15. add there your teammates not showing as ones at all. I know ppl use addons to fix that but still its a true wtf moment
    16. there is something wront with potions lately. I noticed you cannot use them in same gcd where u used skill, or at least that is how it goes for me. I play ESO for 6y and this is pretty new bug for me
    Awake, but at what cost

You want me to add? No idea whether anyone agrees with this, but BG were a non-starter for me from the beginning, they still are and they will continue to be so next patch.

Reason #1: I only care about Deathmatch. I don't care about game modes, I care about fighting other players. So just keep Deathmatch. However that doesn't go far enough. Step 2: Get rid of all the BG medals and achievements that distort the score. I am an open world PvPer, yet I never got into BGs. I feel I have no clear goal in BGs. In open world my goal is obvious. It's to kill and survive in equal measure. When I entered my first BG, however, it quickly became apparent that my open world experience counted for nothing. Actually I have no idea to this day how to score well in a BG, because the scoring system is an intractable black box to me. It seems that BGs reward throwing yourself mindlessly into the fight, getting as many kills as possible and paying no heed to how often you die. This completely goes against the grain, both objectively and psychologically. In my opinion a Deathmatch BG should be scored according to a simple "goal difference", e.g. your score is kills minus deaths. That's it.

Finally what's holding me back is that I'm a CP PvPer. All my builds are CP. This is partly a result of the Cyrodiil performance problems. When Cyrodiil goes bad, I go to IC. However no CP IC is completely unattractive and might as well not exist. Mobs and bosses are tedious beyond belief. Even though I'm a PvPer first and foremost, that remains a consideration. I liked the original IC and I like vMA. NPCs could do more damage and I'd enjoy that. However NPCs that have a lot of health are merely tedious. That's what no CP IC is to me. It seems, from what I read, that CP PvP balance is in a better shape in the current patch than no CP, a change from most previous patches. Either way, if ZOS could only make up their mind and limit all PvP to one mode or the other that would remove the last hurdle from me setting foot in a BG.

The lack of a propper ranking/MMR system that is visable. Add brackets and leaderboards based on MMR and rankings and we solve the majority of all problems with battlegrounds.

Number one is proc sets, second are those tanks/dps. Others can heal pretty good while others can't heal for ****, thanks healing nerf.

1: Magicka Necromancer still being buggy, clunky, and just overall bad this long after I pre-ordered the associated chapter solely for the class.

2: Stamina builds having easy access to an off-GCD stun attached to an incredibly powerful spammable. This makes me extra bitter since, as in point-1 above, I play a Magicka Necromancer that doesn't have either a comparable spammable or an offensive CC even on the global cooldown, much less one that's detached from it.

3: Bombard not yet being nerfed INTO THE GROUND.

4: "Pets" that still apply the NPC-snare that goes through Mist Form. Might as well just add mention of a perma-snare to Morkuldin's tooltip at this point.

5: Nametag bug that's still in the game.

    6: Proc sets.

7: Werewolf being too good and Vampire being awful. And it got that way during the "Vampire Update" too.

8: Gear obtained from non-trivial PvE sometimes being the "best" for PvP. Either make them available via PvP, or change the effects so that they stay in PvE, where they belong. Upper end PvE gear isn't gated behind premade-vs-premade-vs-premade BGs, so there's no reason that the reverse should be true.

9: Break Free not wanting to work properly sometimes, with certain CC's seemingly being more problematic than others.

10: General Stam dominance that has been going on for multiple years now.

I ignore the medal score and I'm going to continue to do that here. What matters for Deathmatch is who gets to 510. And you're right, killing matters less than dying, simply because one kill always gets your team 15 points but a death gets one of the other teams 15 points, similar to increasing both teams' score by 7.5. In theory you can win a match in a team where all players have more deaths than kills as long as their deaths benefited both of the other teams equally.

1vXing requires you to play very safe but Deathmatch requires you to get lots of kills in a short span of time. And to be honest, the matches would be interminable if it wasn't for that...
