Kicked from game, and 200 errors upon relaunch

Spiral_Architect
I was at a wayshrine in Vardenfell, and got unceremoniously kicked. When I re-entered my password, the game told me it was incorrect.
I closed and relaunched the launcher, and I am receiving an error that I cannot download the patch manifest.

Attempted to navigate manually (with chrome/brave/firefox browsers) and I cannot reach the patch manifest URL
https://launcher.bethesda.net/Bethesda.net_Launcher/Bethesda.net_Launcher.patchmanifest (site cannot be reached)

Internet connection is fine, I'm in a major metro area, speed test is grease lightning.

Im hesitant to repair the install because I dont believe it is broken or damaged, but rather the URL which hosts the patch manifest is currently down.

  • Spiral_Architect
I just tried reaching the patch manifest URL from an entirely different internet connection, and the site cannot be reached.

Yes, I can read, thank you. I was just saying it wasn't only you. Pardon me

I just reviewed the output from the game consultant, very nice troubleshooting tool., BTW> My first experience with it.

    Its definitely the manifest URL

If you can read, then you should look up the game architecture, because ps4 and pc dont play in the same world or on the same servers, and probably don't reference any of the same resources in order to function.

That's why they have separate forums for the "separate" platforms.

My response was a friendly "heads up" and you're response suggested I injured your delicate sensibilities, so read this carefully.. Get over yourself and stop sending me private messages.

the PS4 forums are over there >>>>

You should (normally) be able to navigate to this site to see and dl the patch manifest. https://launcher.bethesda.net/Bethesda.net_Launcher/Bethesda.net_Launcher.patchmanifest

    Can you reach that url?

Here is the support documentation for the error I am seeing (error-210)

I have not read all the posts.

    1. Run repair.
    2. Shut down PC and start it again. Do not use the restart command as that is not fully shut down the PC.
    3. Try logging in again.

If that does not resolve the issue then create a tech support ticket and post the ticket number here. @ZOS_BillE may have some tips to try but can also follow up on the ticket to make sure it is in the correct queue.

If you cannot reach that link there is an issue that is not widespread as I can reach it fine.

There appears to be a significant comcast outage in the north east right now, so Im leaning towards this as being the culprit, since other guild members (in other parts of the country) can reach the manifest URL.

I can download the patch manifest via normal http but not https

    reachable:
    http://launcher.bethesda.net/Bethesda.net_Launcher/Bethesda.net_Launcher.patchmanifest

    unreachable
    https://launcher.bethesda.net/Bethesda.net_Launcher/Bethesda.net_Launcher.patchmanifest

I'm going to take a wild guess and say the launcher is using https

Good point and even if OP has internet, the switches and routers between him and the game may be impacted.

I guess NA does not want to be outdone by EU since they recently had an outage.

Whatever blew up seems to have been resolved or bypassed on the WAN.
