heath recovery pvp greymoor?

How viable is investing in heath recovery for pvp in greymoor to be tanky vs like stright defense with lets say pariah or something?

Health regen again is something worth investing since the healing nerf. Many players use sugar skills as bufffood to get an easy but decent health regen. Additionally eternal vigor and orgnum‘s scales are used in quite some builds too. If you want to go further you can combine those two sets for crazy high health regen, use trollking ot endurance somewhere in your build. Naturally such builds work better on classes with additional health recovery boni, but it works on all of them, stam and mag.

As said, the healing nerf brought back lot of players to invest a bit more in health regen to compensate. Others compensate by using malubeth for vitality and better heals or additional healing proc sets.

Dunno about CP PvP, but in no CP absolutely. I run Eternal Vigor and backbar endurance.

The thing to keep in mind about health regen is the GCD cost, which is 0. This means you can spend your GCD on avoiding and countering, instead of spending all your resources and GCD on spamming heals.

No, recovery (all three) occurs every two seconds

It's not worth going out of the way for. Major defile poops all over health regen. Major defile is everywhere.

Major defile hurts healing the same. So defile is just the same issue wether you go for healing or health regen to recover your lost health. So no, major defile is not a reason to not go with health regen.

It ticks every 2 seconds. Healing generally is every second while many are burst oriented. So while it impacts it the same percentage wise, depending on it its harder in terms of thinking of it as mitigation and its such a small amount compared to actual heals.

Sure it's free, sure it's constant, it certainly doesn't hurt. But building towards it with armor bonuses sacks a lot from your build into something extremely easy to reduce to insignificance. People that build for health regen think it's good. In a burst meta, it's not.

You can say the same about resistance. Balorgh, berserker strike.... those sets carry so hard. The only thing with a damn imo is crit resistance, % modifiers and damage imo.

To me you either just use sugar skulls for food and go with whatever you get for health recovery or go all in a build for nothing but health recovery. Don’t really see a good middle ground outside except the new set Eternal Vigor which is a nice set.

Side note I wish they would change the recovery (all three) occurs every one second inside of 2. Obviously, half the current value.

Be safe and have fun :)
