Seething frenzy really doesn't work well what do you think

I've been trying seething frenzy on a stam NB build. Yes, I can get insane weapon damage, but in Lago-dil it is hard to switch off in time and I get killed often. Or I just try to get that extra ability to fire and my HP goes down to 2k and someone kills me with light attack (great way to get into "1 v X" videos).
If you were disciplined and switched it off at 3 seconds no matter what maybe it would be worth it? I'm not disciplined in PvP though.

4 GOs, and bunches of prefects etc-- all classes...I've wasted a lot of time in PVP over the last 8 years
