Elder Scrolls Online for PC?

@silvereyes: Are you serious? People would do that? I used to do that for my brother and girlfriend, back when they were interested in crafting. I'd create gear they could use for research. They were so happy anytime it was something harder to find, for example: Nirnhoned. lol
But anyway, that would be so amazing. I'd gladly research it again if I were to have help. It would completely save so much time and effort. I've had to restart crafting multiple times due to console switching.
So are those basically like macros that automatically do the work for you, in a sense? Or is that wrong/against ZoS terms and agreement?
Oh, my friend, you are in for a whole new world of automation on PC, if you switch, lol. Auto Research is only the tip of the iceberg. Wait until you discover Dolgubon's Lazy Writ Crafter and Writ Worthy. They are the true easy buttons.

In any case, yes, people are usually very happy to help out with research gear for most traits. The more expensive traits like Nirn, Triune, Bloothirsty, etc are a bit more to ask, but many are still happy to gift at least a few of them as a housewarming present for a friend.

@regime211: I don't enjoy PvP at all, so I stay away as much as possible. But other than that, is there anything else you enjoy about restarting on PC?

@Tevalaur: Wait. That's YOUR website!? I used to use that website ALL. THE. TIME. When I played more frequently. Xbox and PS4 didn't really have any resources for helping us with crafting, trading, etc. Your website was, and is, a fantastic source for information on ESO. Thank you, by the way!

@srfrogg23: Not a whole lot really, I tend to jump back and forth right now. Mainly it's been like this:

-Xbox: Hop on, collect daily reward, hop off. Then jump on either For honor, or Fallout 76.

-Gaming Laptop: Get on steam, observe/add Wish list games, play either Baldurs Gate or Total Miner Forge. My library is still small due to lack of a decent computer for... around 10ish years.

It feels like it can't to be honest. I agree.

And there is my problem, buying everything again and earning everything again.

I think another alternative would be to just get the basic game on PC as a test drive. If you find yourself playing it more frequently than your xbox version, then just buy things piece by piece until you get your collection of stuff back up to where it was. It will take a while, but you're not under any obligation to spend all of that money at one time.

@silvereyes: Oh trust me, that information ALONE has me excited. lol
I figured as much, due to the fact that those are definitely harder to attain. Especially at early levels. Even just a few pieces of armor/weapons/jewelry are more than appreciated. I've never had players actively hand me anything, really. lol I earned and found everything I had on Xbox/PS4.

@srfrogg23: That's what I was thinking, or wait for it to go on sale. There is no telling when they will allow another Free Trial.

@gatekeeper13: Okay, thanks for your input. Any reason why?

Because since you ve done so much on Xbox, doing the same stuff on PC will be a total waste of time and money. Plus, if you are going to play on EU server, performance is very, very bad.

I switched from ps4 to PC about a year ago and never looked back. I was cp810, master crafter, etc. So I was also relunctant at first... But man when I first launched the game and played through the tutorial on PC, god was it smooth compared to console gameplay. I mean people who never touched console version and that complain about performance will never know what poor performance truly is on this game.

So yes, do it and you won't regret it I swear.

@gatekeeper13: True, but in (oxymoron coming) Future Retrospect, If I enjoy the game... I suppose re-doing everything won't really be so bad. And with the input from other members, I can use some add-ons to speed up the process of re-earning everything. On one hand, you are right... doing all that again will be a headache. On the other hand, re-doing everything, re-hashing the old story-lines I've grown to ignore with multiple toons, and discovering everything again would be fun! It's a real give and take, pro and con situation. But so far I'm around 70-75% sold on restarting.

Also, I will not be using the EU server. I live in North America, so using the NA server will be my go to. Same as console. Although, console EU server works quite well.

@Il3rotherhood: Wow, so you are actually farther than I am on the game, er, were. lol
Honestly, that's a bold reply. You've done more than I have on that game, and managed to restart. And also seem to enjoy it. Did you also own DLC and in-game currency/unlockables/holiday event items?

Not to double post, but if anyone is interested in getting the base game - it's on sale on this site. 7.99 for the base game Digital Edition. I just saw it and might grab it.

Edit: I bought it, thanks everyone who posted! I'll play it and see if I enjoy it as much, or more, on pc! I'll wait to grab the dlc if I enjoy it.
