Easiest, viable class/rotation for PvP? (disability)

I don't understand how this discussion went any further than Mag Sorc to be honest. No single class has so much potential in such an easy to use kit in this game.

    Some thoughts:
    • Some of the comments in this thread are obsolete. For example, there is no longer a skill called Mutagen. And Vampire is changing totally in the next patch.
    • The easiest role would be that of healer. All classes can heal given magicka builds. Templar and sorcerer are the easiest to heal with.
    • I agree with the consensus that fast and precise hand movements are most important in self-defense, and a bigger deal in melee than ranged offense. So you'd want either ranged magicka builds, in whatever combination of healing and damage you like, or else bow/bow. By way of contrast, a stamina necro build focused on Dizzying Swing would not be ideal.

I think magwarden would be good, I have a strain injury and when it acts up I tend towards my warden because you can be very tanky you can heal which is less aiming and you can be impactful with northern storm without having to LA weave to much.

I would say don't play stam it tends to be more incoming fire to get close to people which means more blocking and difficult positioning, basically everything happens a lot faster. Hots are nice to have and warden has the most, basically you can precast things to not have to spam as much and wardens are good shalks has a short timer and auto hits everything around so it's also less spammy. With aoes and hots you need to position them correctly but the time window is a little wider than single target nukes or direct heals so if your reaction is slowed they can still be effective

If this is how you play these classes, you are doing it wrong.

Really, any melee class is going to require you to be much more active. As melee, you need to be constantly positioning, attacking, and switching to defense on the fly. Playing a ranged damage dealer can be a lot less taxing. You can get into a good spot, try to blow up a couple distant targets, then switch to whatever evasion/escape mechanic you have to get way if trouble comes.

I've played all classes apart from magcro and leveled entirely in Cyro/ bg's and I've found these classes to be by and far the easiest and most forgiving ( stamplar is the easiest mechanically). Which means say on a sorc, you can tell the good ones from bad very easily, whereas with a good or bad stamden it's harder to tell at 1st as it's pretty simplistic and inherently tanky.

Despite his title, I don't think OP is looking for the "easiest' class. My understanding is that hes looking for a classes that can be successful, while not being overly input-intensive. Melee classes require constant reactionary movement, you can play ranged classes somewhat more stationary.

That is exactly what I was referring to.

I finally got a magsorc to CP 100 and I'm having some success in BG's but a lot of the builds are hard for me because the class requires so much kiting.

I may give the stamwarden a try or something that has a lot of sustain.

    Thank you, everyone!

Get to 160CP before committing to anything.

In BGs, you need to be at CP160 to be at the real level cap. The max gear lvl is CP160. If you are running around in CP100 gear, everyone will have huge advantage over you. You won't know what works for you until you can equip the same level gear as everyone you're fighting.

    Right, I’ll definitely do that.

How big is the CP advantage in the wPvP zones? I know there’s the noCP mode but I assume it’s not as popular?

I do think I’ll roll a Stam necromancer as well since so many people are recommending it.

Any class with bow Snipe allows you to feel useful while spamming few buttons.

CP makes a huge difference. Once you get to CP160, you'll be at the real level cap for NoCP activities (BGs and Cyro). But stick to BGs while you are trying things out. In CP enabled Cyro, you'll be at a huge CP disadvantage. In NoCP Cyro, there wouldn't be enough action for you to get meaningful practice.

In BGs, you'll be at the level cap with everyone else, and you'll be fighting constantly, allowing for better training.
