Class Balance

I literally have to wait 5 months until any form of class balance is come into play after being a ‘test subject’ of blanket nerfs before they have enough data to see where my class lies in the overall spectrum of things while they adjust values outside of classes first. Seriously dude it’s been so long.

I was so excited to see balance changes. I got to combat and gameplay and that page was done with one mouse wheel. Not a damn thing. Unreal.

Absolutely. Anyone that plays knows where classes strength and weaknesses lie. This overall nerf to everything just will make those discrepancies more apparent.

Although pve dps seems balanced now, just necros with access to the single most and only source of a damage increase in the game.

Please please allow storm atro to affect 3 targets so stamsorcs are raid viable.

They need to just give yall the air atro already. Wind and lightning for sorc. Poison and fire for dk. Ice and nature for warden. Death and disease for necro. Life and light for templar, darkness and blood for nightblade.

Theyve got dual themes for all the classes (templar is a bit of a stretch though) they should double down on this when reinforcing class identity.

Give stamdks a proper spammable instead of poo slinging. Make it poison themed.

People have been asking for this for ages give the people what they want!

I dont even like or play those classes but its asked for every patch for years.

Like 4 years pretty much, I feel like the game is still in beta after 6 years. Literally 80% of people would have gone with a poison whip for dks.

Anyone not happy about us not getting "class balance" changes must be new here.. because when they happen - no one is happy.

After the last 1,5 years of big ups and downs on class skills atleast i am happy there was no class changes really this time. We all deserve a break from them.

(And yes, i`ve said for some time about my thoughts on balance and that it is not exactly anymore so near the illusion of balance what mmo`s should aim for, but more like artifial FOTM roulette each 3-6 months cycles to make people reroll).

If someone thinks class changes means their favourite "underdog" class gets buffed, be ready for disappointment at Dungeon DLC update this end of summer. Based from history, you should know they will raise up something else as FOTM. And instead of buffs, if you are playing some class with juicy mitigation stuff like Major Protection.. prepare mentally for nerfs on those skills if they see the nerfs to defensive gears (like BS for example) were not enough to break the "tank meta" as many say.

Tank meta to me been funny term anyways, people die in seconds lol in this patch already and in next patch with some of the things that gonna come, oh well... Pop Pop Pop! People will implode left and right to pick where they will spawn back. All your AP belongs to me.

Air atronach would be nice. I wouldn't feel so bad about slotting the atro on my backbar just for the daedric protection passive then.
I don't really need a spammable, but I'd like it if they kept bash the way it was so SnB would still be an option at least.

Who needs to buff classes when we can take power away from the player, put it into gear, and then nerf that gear later?

Moonsorrow apparently, ‘new’ 1.5 years. What, do you main a warden? The fact you can label a class that people view as an ‘underdog’ just only proves my point. We need balance. Flavour of the month happens. But right now it’s like the difference in flavour between eating fresh pizza and pizza that has been left out on your kitchen bench for a week because no one cares enough about it to want it later. Not a case of everything is good but this is the best right now.
It’s more this is bad and this is good. And no one wants bad. ‘This is okay’ I can deal with; but 4 years of this is getting to a point of whatever.
If I wanted the fastest car I’d play a racing game.

Class standardization is done already and the monstersets were the final part of their standardization. Maybe we will see adjustements after this whole standardization is through...but hopes are low.

I kind of miss wrobel...he had at least some kind of idea about the class fanatsy.

People sometimes are really unthankful and certainly are hypocrites. Everyone wanted to see some buffs in the patch notes for THEIR favourite class, somehow I can't see players asking for buffs to other weaker specs, they always think only about them selves and ONLY when THEIR class is buffed, they are happy.

Be grateful nobody got nerfed, because there are some specs that deserve some tweaks, and let's have hope they will ADJUST our classes in the future, not swing with the balance like a wrecking ball.

What is all this high horse stuff. A stamina sorc has one and a half skill trees unusuable. Magblades are easily in one of the worst positions right now.

Thankful for what. Being in beta after 6 years. This new wave of nothing got touched so it’s better than if it did is so bubble wrapped for safety it’s pathetic. I don’t want to keep hoping after 6 years. Haven’t I already done that. So I’m voicing my concern to get shot down by those who think this is completely fine. Again. Perpetuate the problem and watch the game you want to invest in die for anyone that wants any real content other than just spamming some mobile crafting games on a console.

The under performing classes due to design don’t get nerfed anymore because they literally can’t nerf the class any further. Watch other classes get adjusted first. Either everything gets buffed or what’s on top gets nerfed.

If you’re thankful nothing got touched you’re obviously playing the current meta.
