Ruin Gaming standing down - Cyro unplayable

This is a notification for Zos to inform you that Ruin Gaming is standing down from the alliance war until further notice. We had an officer meeting last night and came to the sad conclusion that we have to stand down from the war in Cyro as the environment is unplayable. We've been trying to make the best of the situation for weeks now but we can't play for more than an hour before we have to quit due to the many issues plaguing PVP at the moment.

We are a Guild of 300+ members and while we can keep these people busy gearing up and other PVE activities we are primarily a PVP guild and our membership will not stay content with this approach for long. (Not to mention our leadership) I do not speak for the other AD guilds but I know similar conversations are occurring with them as well.

We are experiencing disconnects, positional de-syncs, rollbacks, what we call the "slow" bug and general laggy conditions.
It doesn't seem to matter if we're in combat or if we're riding between keeps we still experience these conditions and it makes the game unplayable.

Please do what needs to be done to fix this mess you've made.

It's very clear that zos doesnt want anyone in cyrodiil and it's been like that for a while. I mean why else would they kick you every hour?:) did it really take a full officer meeting to come to the conclusion that its unplayable:) I could have told you within 5 seconds.

You aren't alone.my pvp guild has also stopped running until they either fix performance or another mmo comes out and we move there.

I just want to vouch for the fact that Ruin had come back to the game and was actively recruiting in Cyrodiil for the last week or so.

Lots of people are giving up ZoS. The game is not playable with the lag and skills not firing despite hitting the key FIVE times.

Please do something before its too late (if it isnt already)

It looks awesome, yet they are very quite about the specifics on how to play. Really make me suspicious, and you have to use Steam.

Sad to hear, but you're not the only ones leaving. PVP campaigns are emptying more and more, on PC/EU, even the most popular campaign does not reach poplock at primetime.

I don't think ZOS is trying to fix this PVP mess, though. Their own posting on this forum implies a massive amount of disinterest. Leaving the game is the only rational solution for PVPers these days.

that's not cool.
we don't want to loose people from eso for any reason, but entire guilds leaving and especially because of HIGH Ping and Bad Lagg is never a welcomed event.
i pray eso fixes this high ping and lagg problem before we loose more than guilds.

Mmm on top of that, they're not using separate servers for pve and pvp. We all see how well that's worked out for eso. 😑
Will have to wait and see.

I'm sorry to hear this, but I definitely understand. It would be interesting to see how many guilds stopped playing eso or dissolved due to performance issues over eso's life.

I’ll go to Cyro. Play for like an hour. Log out and play RDR2. My HORSE loves me!

I mean I WANT to play ESO; but, a lot of stuff is broken atm...

hey maybe on there 10th anniversary 2024 they will finally have lag free servers ESO is best game ever.

Exactly. Just got so sick of performance last night that I just left my group after 90 minutes. I am a pretty patient person too, this is just bad.

It’s been more lagging than usual since last patch. I can play 1-2 hours during primetime and weekend. Now i only limit outside primetime since lag is getting worse. Might try those New World game, thanks for the info guys been looking for MMORPG with decent PVP as an alternatives to ESO.
