any tips for running a pug group?
what sort of messages will you usually send out (other than destination)?
not really fond of being crown (I have more than enough responsiblity in life already )...just wondering...

I was very intimidated at first to run a PUG bc cyro zone is filled with toxic feedback. Some pvp guilds even DM me telling me I was ruining their campaigns. However those same guilds refuse to pick up pugs during their peak guild hours. So I said F them all.
The only person in Kaal was the leader of M group who would coordinate with me, we managed to take back a significant amount of map during the event.
Another secret is I would not announce my movements in zone chat, only in the group chat. It's easier to weed out spies that way.

Remind the group every single time you get ready to roll out......
Buy siege, check drinks and stay on crown. Still can't believe how often folks forget to buy siege. Lol

now that i've started on another server and have committed to just one alliance there - i feel a lot more comfortable typing in chat...
one of the things though that does drive me a little nuts in a group of PUGs is when people set down lightening and fire siege to breakdown doors and walls...wrong tool for the job folks...
the other thing that gets me is when folks set up a ram on the door while flaming oil is getting poured all over them - and, then they all start dying by the door - ugh...
short of a siege shield and at least one dedicated healer - you got to be awful tanky to stand in a burning oil bath...dcam86b14_ESO wrote: »I was very intimidated at first to run a PUG bc cyro zone is filled with toxic feedback. i started a new set of pvp characters over on my platform's sister server...no one wants to invite a level 20 toon to their group...
i mean i'm cool solo - heck, even as a level 20 something with no cp to my build, i still spent a lot more time rezzing other folks than needing to be rezzed myself (although - i do have my days even still where it seems every other step i take is getting me killed )...
but, always bums me out to see one or two "randoms" continually typing out: LFG...lot's of folks don't want to play alone...

It takes a ton of patience. @Raknosh was the best pug wrangler in the history of ESO. A very patient man..... lol
