LF right guild... maybe
What is the advantage of being in a guild?
I'm a returning player and not played sense 2015. I can't talk in discord (so why get on discord). And honestly I'm not as young and agile as I used to be so I don't care for PvP either. I don't know the inner-workings of trading guilds other than trading goods but always up for learning. I don't mind questing but it does get redundant. Call me old school but Roll Playing guild seems weird to me, no offense to anyone. Obviously I've been playing solo but again it gets a bit boring by yourself all the time. Thus, why I ask what is the advantage of being in a guild.
I am an experienced player and used to raid in WoW up until they nurfed LK. Lost interest after it got to easy and life kinda took over.
I live in Alaska, -9 UTC or 4 hours behind EST and I'm online most every night between 7pm and midnight my time (AST).

✭✭Discord is a huge advantage to have, and you dont need to be in a guild to join a community, age and health is no limitation for this game nor is time zone, you will get only what you put into a community/guild. i would start by saying remove the limitations you have placed on yourself so nobody else can, the right guild/community is out there for you and i hope you find a place to feel comfortable

The_Art_of_Paw✭✭✭A big trade guild is good to be able to have the price data for trading addons if you ever buy stuff from traders. It can be the different in paying 1k gold for an item and 30k gold if you know the values they go for.
You have more people to fast travel to in a guild. There is an addon that brings options so you don't have to manualy teleport via the roster as well.
The guild channels can often provide you info on what is happening in game. Often when a special event is on, if there is some quirk to it (like having to get pumpkins and where to find them easy) there is a lot of activity about it, so you usually don't have to ask as you will see the answers flooded
Discord has a lot of text guides. Even if you never plan to use the voice, the information in many of them can be useful. There are discord bots that load up daily pledge information, as an example, that saves you having to run to the undaunted to check what the days pledges are.
My mind is at it's limits though those are the big topics that come to mind.
From your description, i feel a mid level trade guild would suit you. One of the no fee style, they usually just want you to list items to sell and can be any items
