quick slot problem

I had been using quick slot for health potions which are essential INMHO for battle. But for some reason these are not working. I see them slotted. however, during battle the slot shows and empty bottle instead of what I have slotted. this is the case with every single one of my 4 toons from the highest of over 210 CP to the lowest level 18.
Is there some mysterious setting that could be preventing the use of quick slot that I might have accidentally triggered? Or is this game seriously bugged?

✭Empty bottle can be if you used that type of potions and you have none in the inventory, cos the quick slot remember the type of slotted item but will show empty if there is none in the inv.
But since it is on the multiple characters, than sorry...dunno.

EternalDiva✭✭✭well I have figured out that the default slot somehow became the bottom empty slot that may have had something in it at one time. I "think" I figured out how to get the top slot back to default slot but IDK how to explain how I did it. lol0
