Why are new adventure zones turning into fully enclosed regions fully cut off by mountain, water, and other impassable obstacle? Corinthe is a major Khajiiti city, and its literally a skip north of the edge of the Pellitine zone map. However theres nothing but mountain. No roads indicating beaten paths linking Corinthe to Senchal. Its the same thing with Torval to the west and Anequina in general to the north. Khamira said her entourage marched down from Rimmen. How? As far as the game is concerned there are no paths by ground they couldve possibly took unless the hiked over mountains.
I don't care if there are roads that are closed off to us cause its the edge of the playable map. I appreciate them being there. Its world building. It lets me know theres more to the world than just the zone I'm in. It gives me little moments of glee when i see it and realize, "Oh this road goes on to Corinthe! Its in that direction just over those peaks."

Now theyll need to correct all of this when they eventually swing back around to fill in the gaps. By including the two cities, one in each zone they could have avoided this mess.

I think the answer to that can be summed up in: Ebonheart Pact main storyline greatly affects The Mane and one of those cities is the main seat of The Mane.
I think they wanted to spare themselves further headaches from past player choices and simply chose not to include them. It would also have mean two (or three) big cities to animate rather than one, in a DLC. Only DLC I can think of with more than one sizeable city in DB and both of those are nowhere near as big as Senchal. Even chapters such as Summerset or Morrowind only have one big city iirc.
