Setting up accounts

I've just created an Xbox account for my kid, and they want to play ESO. However, as I'm setting up the game it's got to a page asking me if I want to either "Create Account" or "Link Existing Elder Scrolls Online Account".
What do I do here? Reading it, it sounds like it would change the account ESO is linked to to this new one, but remove it from my account - which I assume would lose everything I've done. So, should I create another account for the new profile?

robwolf666✭✭✭✭✭Thank for the reply. It worked. Just a pity it won't let me share the dlc game packs. I guess she'll have to settle for the base game, no way I'm buying all of that other stuff again for same console.0
