
yea I've flawless conqueror on several of my toons and don't like to back up flawed design content.
First things first before the "L2P" crew decides to drop in with the non constructive banter, yes I've done it and photo because it did happen.
I love the idea of challenge but inconsistent random glitchy performance and mechanics are not my idea of challenge, having to exit the arena and re enter to have it behave properly is simply
not selling it to me. Getting damage from stunned enemies, the lass boss teleporting even when the blast stunned him first, when fighting the behemoth argonian the spores suddenly decide to stack and re spawn and this is among other things that suddenly once again if I exit and enter again they don't happen and that ruins both the experience and trying to compete for the leader board which I believe Ive done twice. (never said I was a top player anyways).
The RNG is totally ridiculous, like seriously getting the same item over and over again is a total disappointment and the community explanation about "do it with a stam character if you want the staff" is really not one that we should be accepting and business as usual.
Please ZOS Make the Malestrom Arena Great Again.

15-20 times? Those are rookie numbers, you got to pump those numbers up. There are people that had 1k+ runs and didn't get a single sharpened fire staff, before there was transmute.

But i'm sure the drop rates are rigged, if you could get whatever you want in a decent time, then probably lots of people wouldn't pay Eso+ to get access to Orsinium DLC and farm vMA.

Have a life? Congratulations. Welcome to mmos though. You want the good stuff, you have to grind. And there is only a 5% chance at getting a 16% chance to get any destro at the end. Meaning at the end of then 20 runs, you will have a 2.6% chance not to get what you wanted, or a 97.4% chance that you get a staff, any staff. While that is low, that is still a possibility. You are just unlucky.
If you really wanted to maximize your time there, you would just wait for double drops when the wrothgar event is on. That is pretty much the only time I run it.

And in 2019, there are all sorts of ways to mitigate the quirks and foibles of RNG. Not doing any of these shows active disdain for the player.

Transmute is the token system in the game. People are so stupid, some was suggesting trading transmutes with other players without understanding what the transmutes are, tokens.
