Your favorite/most beautiful delves?

forfoxsakemary
Hello guys!

Since we're in the middle of the Witche's festival and many of us are "farming" delves to get plunder skulls, I was wondering, what are your favorite delves? And which ones do you thing are the most beautiful? Personally I prefer lush green, full of flowers, roots and grass (if you have any that fit that description, please tell me! :D ) but I'd simply love to know which are your favorites in order to re-visit them! <3

Hope you're having a great day ! :)

Yeah, I've to lower the lightning and view range option a bit to not drop under 30 fps ^^

When ever I go into a Delve that has an opening into the sky, I want to go above and find the opening and see if I can drop down.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Delves tend to be bit.. forgettable. And that's not necessarily bad because when a delve tries to be different players get to enjoy playing hide and seek in a multilevel maze. Summerset has some of those.

My favorite delve like structure is not a delve but the kvama mine at Vvardenfell visited during A Melodic Mistake quest at Gnisis.

I drop to like... 3 fps at times, until everything is loaded. I think I might need more RAM because I only have 8gb RAM, could that be the reason?

For farming skulls I find Forgotten Crypts to be the easiest since rooms are just next to each other.
But I got most of the items already so I am quitting except gold skulls. :D

Oh, Bahraha's Gloom. I like that one a lot too. Lots of stuff to loot and a neat atmosphere.

I like the one in Murkmire that DOESN'T have the green slime globs everywhere. Can't remember the name though. I like the Shadow Cleft in CWC as well. DLC areas tend to have more interesting delves.

The Shadow Cleft - very atmospheric, lots of little corners to find and explore, and lots of chests too :)

The daily quests into it have some story elements to them as well. Unlike the "find 3 white arrows and click on them" daily quests we've been given in S. Elsweyr.

Virtually all the delves beyond the base game are spectacular. I doubt if I could pick a favorite among them. They all make me wish we had proper photo mode tools in this game.

Agreed, just wish there was more reason to go there. Dailies get on my nerves quick.

I run 16 on mine. But it's allso depend on the frequence you use and be sur it compatible to the config.
But yeah it could be a reason.

Don't be afraid to check some PC's forum you can gather some good advice (it what I've done when I was building my 1st PC myself !)

That said, about the thread, I like the New on in south Elsweyr (bottom left), their is some beautiful aera inside.

    That one was frustrating :)

My favorite might be the one in Morrowind there the Khajiit was growing moonsugar.
Fun quest and looks good, was one of the first new cave delves with vegetation I was in.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Not a delve I know, but wandering around Fungal Grotto once you have tamed the Goblins and slaughtered the Draugh is really fantastic.

Running through dungeons means you miss so much of the great design.

Some of the delves in Elsweyr are really attractive

I like both of Hew's Bane delves, myself, but for your preferences I think you would like King's Haven Pass in Summerset

My favorite in the base game is Fort Greenwall. Since many of us had already been there in Skyrim, it was really neat to get a glimpse into its pre-history, so to speak.

I miss the atmosphere that Skyrim's crypts had. It was really spooky, especially if you modded it to eliminate most of the light and making a lamp or torch helpful. These delves don't give me any sense of dread. I miss that from Skyrim. The music doesn't help either.

OH MY GOD ME TOO. Whenever im in a supposedly long secret underground place, then look up and see theres an opening to the outside. Has no one ever just went out for a stroll, came upon a giant hole in the ground, looked down and saw the gigantic long forgotten temple/fortress/city below?

I was actually intending to mention the Dwemer ruin Delves in Vvardenfell. I really dont like anything Dunmer, but that island has some scenic places.

Not a delve but did a random dungeon and got crypt of hearts and the lighting was glitched somehow. Looked like someone forgot and left all the lights on. It was actually really beautiful compared to the dark version we always get. Makes me wish I could see the other dungeon with the "lights on".

I replayed Skyrim recently, and on visiting Shor's Stone on the Eastmarch / Rift border, and looking around it I thought "wait... that's it?". It's pretty small compared to the one in ESO.
