Healers are most needed yet rewards are doo-doo to the max

2019 and we still can't reward people who just want to ensure the survival of their team.

The only BG worth it is deathmatch. Chaosball gives terrible rewards for healing. No, not terrible. It doesn't reward you.

Transmutation stones are good. The sets you get are good for leveling alt’s tradeskills by deconstructing them.

As healer I dont find much difference in rewards than when I play Damage

Same few sets has been in circulation, ive used bg rewards to lvl jewelrycrafting on multiple toons, thats about it.
Might be time for some new sets.
Also bg gear is thrown at us in spades, no wonder it feels worthless.

Not sure they'll ever promote such playstyle.

Zo$ struggles to get 4/4 into a match. With a broken MMR and obsolete leaderboard. Can you imagine them having to consider player playstyles too?

BG's for me are decon sets, leveling, motifs, AP and some fun here and there.

Unless Op meant match points for healing are low?

I gotta agree, I made my warden into a healbot and have been running BG for the past few days. If its objective I get a decent score as I can hold an objective without anyone killing more or the group. But you don't get a good idea of the impact a healer has from the score (although the enemies teams I am sure can tell the impact I had lol)

The one adjustment they can make is lower the threshold for Critical Heal medals. This would be the easiest solution to points.

Critical Heal medals currently give the same amount of points as Assist and Killing Blow medals, but they require something like a 7k or 8k heal to get them.

Drop it to like 5k and you'll see some impressive scores by healers in BGs.

Here's what I was referring to:

My score is most influenced by Critical Heals (followed closely by Assists). This is a full healer build with the only damage being Entropy and Lightning Staff attacks.



Lowering the threshold means more healers getting better scores.
