Any tips on research Impenetrable transmute?

do i buy cheap stuff from guildstore to research impen?

if i research a "green light glove" will i be able to transmute both green blue purple and gold light gloves with that trait?

Yes, quality of the item doesn't matter.

If you're in a decent guild, ask if there is a crafter who will make research items for you. Ask in zone chat for research items for traits you need. You can buy them, of course, if you want. You only need white for research.

im trying to atleast get impen researched for all pieces on all 3 weights. but as far as i can see medium and cloth are researched by the same clothing station. so how do i figure out which impen on light and medium im missing?

hope it makes sence...

heavy is easier because its just that one by the blacksmith

The 7 light are the first 7 in the menu, the 7 medium are the next 7 when you are at the crafting station

light is cloth... medium is leather (hide)
