Switching from mag to stam

I've been playing a magicka dps character for a long time now, around 2 years now and despite have a stamina character in every class I never use them because I find I'm in demand on magicka more often. I pull 80-85k consistently on all my magicka characters so I expected to pull higher again on my stamina characters but I'm pulling lower. The timing of the weaving just feels different somehow so my LA ratio is 0.80 while I can reach 0.9 on magicka.
Has anybody else ever struggled with this switch? Any tips besides just practising more?
