This is my first time posting here. I have some other homes, and have done some decorating, and love Cardinal's EHT addons! I used EHT FX for many objects in this room. So inspiring to see all the creativity here! It can be a bit intimidating to share, but I got brave. lol

This is a pic of my little place in Elsweyr. The paintings in Essential Housing's FX were perfect for making my place look much larger. A blown up painting made an amazing triptych, which really highlights some awesome details of the images. I used the painting for Maw of Lorkhaj , and my trophy from the trial on the wall, and hung a khajiit lantern from its jaws. The other wall I used the Realm of Jode. I wanted this to be a little bolt hole for my necromancer, so there is a little sigil under the bed, cos you're not paranoid if they really are coming to get you! :p And since my death magic practitioner is not entirely heartless, she has a shelf with her favorite plush toys, including Honor, to cuddle after an exhausting night of raising skeletons, and fighting dragons! <3

    It would be really nice if console users could do something like this. We can't resize paintings to make them look like Windows so we're stuck with the same dark interiors.

    Hehehe! Well, I tend to lurk, so I'm not easy to find. :wink: I was on a bit of a game break, but that is over now, so I'll be around more often. Already getting requests to craft some of the new armor sets. :D

    It should just be part of the game, for everyone.

    Imagine if windows came with a painting/screenshot, showing what would be the actual view from the house/room, behind the window panes.

    No, it wouldn't move (although, they could probably give it some very basic animation, if they wanted), but it would still be considerably better than dark, totally obscurred windows everywhere.

    If people didn't like that, they could always cover the windows with closed curtains.
